Matt has been racing since 2006, claiming wins in both Westfields and Ginettas. Matt is now in his third season in the BMW Compact Cup.
The cars are based on the BMW E36 318Ti Compact 3-door, with identical ECUs, tyres, suspension and roll cages. The cars are fitted with a 1.9 litre engine and have a minimum weight of 1,150kg, including the driver.
The BMW Compact Cup is a one make Championship for the BMW E36 model. Regular grids of 35+ cars compete at tracks across the UK providing some of the most competitive and close racing in the country.
